Placentrex & fake +ve pregnancy result

Asked for Female, 25 Years

I had swollen left fallopian tube.i was prescribed antibiotics and 10 placentrex injections (2 ml) and my last cycle started on Jan 22nd 2018, I have not got my periods yet. I got positive results when I had done home pregnancy twice. Does placentrex injections have extract of HCG hormone ? Is it a fake positive pregnancy result due to placentrex?

Yes placentrex injection cn give false positive urine pregnancy test. However it should not cause missed periods. So do an ultrasound to confirm if you are pregnant or not.
