Hi doctor , My wife is pregnant of 23 weeks.doctor has suggest her to take ecoaspirin 150 mg till 36 week.will it effect normal delivery or not? And how many weeks it will wait for deliver after stopping this ecoaspirin150mg tablet at 36 week.pls suggest

First of all why is she prescribed this medicine? In many conditions we need to give ecosprin for better placental perfusion .then it needs to be stopped at 32 weeks if everything fine and that decision has to be by your gynecologist

Ecosprin is good to take Timing of Delivery has nothing to do with stopping ecosprin. Please continue till 34to36 weeks,it won't affect normal delivery, within 10 days it's effect will go

Ecosprin improves blood flow to baby

It is good for preeclampsia In addition you can take Tablet Astymin Forte twice a day for a month L-arginine sachet twice a day for a month Sleep for two hours in afternoon and for eight hours at bedtime in left lateral position for improvement of blood flow to baby

It can be stopped at 34-36 weeks Preeclampsia is a high pregnancy and a lot of Blood pressure charting is required . Buy a digital blood pressure measuring devise. Take all visits urine test for albumin. If any problems like headaches or blurred vision or vomitting or epigastric pain or decreased fetal movement please communicate with your doctor .
