No due to pre diabetes won’t cause weight gain but it’s other way round ur weight gain is causing pre diabetes. So if I don’t do at thing about u will become diabetic. So need to change lifestyle by doing regular exercise and change in diet. Weight reduction will reverse your diabetes.
