Sudden weight loss post diabetic medicin
Hi All, i have performed a medical checkup two months back and at the time i was at 138 kg, 147/89 bp,hba1c at 8.1 and ldl at 123. Also i was diagnosed with grade 3 fatty liver. Due to these conditions i was instructed to have empastat and telista in morning and obimet and rosuvas in night for 3 months. Now i am at 124 kg ( 14kg lost ) and don't feel hungry at all. Is this sudden weight loss of 14kgs normal with these medicines for 2 months time or do i need to perform any further tests. My next check up is in one month time from now. Please clarify me in the above questions. Thanks in advance

If the weight loss is intentional, your blood sugars are well controlled, and there are no red-flag symptoms (persistent vomiting, fever, severe weakness, abdominal pain, blood in stools, or night sweats), it may simply reflect successful treatment and lifestyle changes. However, because of the rapid weight loss and poor appetite, a clinical review is recommended to rule out other causes and decide whether medication doses need adjustment. Please consult
