If I were you, I would get another fasting and PLBS levels , making sure having regular meals as you would normally have, or the one you have had when you checked your sugar level last time. If PLBS comes back as showing similar sugar levels or anything >200, it will confirm that you are a diabetic. Now, a normal HBA1c , in such a situation, suggests that you might have developed diabetes in the last few days . As HBA1c takes in to consideration the average levels over the last 3 months time, a newly developed diabetic patient might have a normal HBA1c but an abnormal FBC or PLBS or both. Hence it is always best to repeat the test and if it is still the same which then confirms the diagnosis. I would start the treatment without waiting to have HBA1c rise to level of confirmation.
