I am planning for pregnancy after having a miscarriage recently. My doctor has prescribed me with glycomet 500 sr tablet once a day as my HBA1C is 5.8. Could you please let me know if i need to take the tablet or if i can try other methods to reduce my HBA1C as i do not want to get used to the tablet

I would suggest you to take the prescribed drug as it is important to keep your blood sugar levels under control especially since you are planning pregnancy. It is important to continue for you to have a healthy baby as well
