I am planning for second pregnancy and worried about gestational diabetes as I have a history of gdm in my first pregnancy 2021 which was detected around 28 weeks and took metformin.After delivery sugar levels were normal but after 3 months of postpartum my hba1c was 6.3 and with good diet I have controlled my sugar levels and my hba1c was normal. Last month I took blood test and hba1c was 5.8 and I am in prediabetic range. So I am worried if I get pregnant I will have gdm again and what if after delivery I will become type2 .Is it really ok to plan for second pregnancy or better not to try for second baby
