Pre Diabetes
My mom is 58 yrs old. Recently i Checked her blood sugar at home and the reading for fasting was 111 and PPBS was 137. I have got her to stop eating rice which she was once a day. She has now shifted to Ragi and Millets. She doesn't eat sweets. Is there any medication she has to be on? She has skin allergy too.

You should get an HbA1c test done which will indicate her average blood glucose levels for the past 3 months. As for control of her current blood glucose levels, she needs to be on a regular activity & exercise schedule coupled with dietary modifications. Whether or not she needs medications can be ascertained after 3 months of life style modifications.
