Mix the formula according to instructions on the pack. Diarrhoea cannot be attributed entirely to change in formula it could be due to infection also. Start WHO ors and zinc and monitor for frequency of loose stools, activity, urine output, intake of feeds. You can consult your paediatrician for further course.

Hi Formula change usually doesn’t cause diarrhea. It will be due to infection. Keeping feeding and continue giving zinc and ORS solution. Watch for signs of dehydration. It will settle down in 3/4 days.

Greetings Switching formula brands can temporarily irritate a baby's sensitive digestive tract or reveal a dietary intolerance. However, loose motions lasting for three days paired with weight loss and crankiness require immediate medical attention.Since your baby is under six months old, you should consult a pediatrician right away to prevent severe dehydration.Keep offering standard-strength formula frequently, and ask your doctor about incorporating an oral rehydration solution.Do not dilute the formula with extra water or give any anti-diarrheal medications without a professional prescription.
