A good question . Drink about a liter of milk if you are breastfeeding . Have plenty of green vegetables and fruits . Protein is a must - eggs, fish , chicken , daal paneer , soyabean Move around . Take care of your baby yourself . Do not stress on any account . Try to complete your 8 hrs of sleep . Avoid ghee and fat in any form that we take traditionally . Don’t get obese . Must have enough privacy to feed your baby at its due time .

The main things to take care of in post partum is 1. Your mental health. Find 10-15 mins of silence / calm for yourself. 2. Breast - make sure both the breast are emptied after baby has finished feeding. Wear a good bra support. 3. Vaginal discharge - discharge in post partum period can vary. Reddish- whitish- yellowish. Maintain perineal hygiene. 4. If baby delivered by cs, take care of your stitches. Go for follow up with your doctor. These are the main ones. Rest you can conmec.
