Hi, I am 3 weeks postpartum with my 2nd baby and have been struggling with sleep issues for many years. I find it hard to fall asleep now because of constant thoughts. Even if my toddler and newborn baby sleeps, I am not able to sleep, leaving me feeling exhausted. I want to be able to sleep peacefully so I can take better care of both my kids. Before my pregnancy, I was taking brahmi capsules and other medicines prescribed by an Ayurveda doctor, but I stopped them during pregnancy. I would like to know if it is safe to take brahmi capsules now to help with my sleep and overall well-being. And what will be the dosage?

During the postpartum phase, Brahmi capsules can be beneficial for promoting mental calmness and better sleep. Typically, 250-500 mg once or twice daily is recommended, but the dosage should be tailored to your condition.
You can also try taking a warm bath at night or practicing Padabhyanga (foot massage) with Ksheerabala oil to relax before bed. Additionally, applying Shiro Pichu (oil-soaked cotton on the scalp) with Ksheerabala oil before your bath can further promote relaxation and improve sleep.
