•you need to keep/bite on cotton that has been placed on Extraction site atleast for 45mins. •After removing cotton, slight bleeding can be seen.which will stop soon.if bleeding still persists consult doctor immediately. •after Extraction atleast for 24 hrs u need to avoid spitting, drinking with a straw, sneezing or blowing ur nose -this may dislodge the blood clot. • you can have apply ice pack from outside ur cheek on that area that helps control bleeding. -If its  bleeding  profusely & continously u need to visit a dentist.

Always follow your dentists instructions after extraction. Bite on a tight wet cotton gauze or cotton tightly for 1 hour. Keep swallowing. Nothing will happen if you swallow. Apply ice on the cheek for 5 minutes every half hour.. Spitting will cause more bleeding. You should not spit or rinse on day of extraction. Have an ice cream after an hour. If blood is pumping out still please see your dentist or any dentist or the eme6. You will be given medication to stop bleeding. Do not disturb the site or suck and check for blood do not use a straw. Have soft diet. Sleep on opposite side. Wisdom teeth extraction is difficult at times and may take so long or longer.
