Post surgery insomnia
My mither had undergone hysterectomy where ovaries were conserved back in October around 2.5 months she didn't have sleep disturbance and overthinking past one month she continously uesed to get negative thoughts and couldn't sleep for a week I took her to psychiatrist medicine fluoxecare, etisod.25 and trypsid were given 10 days later depout eti and etizolam for.15 days the dr said medicines should be continued for 5-6 months and I'm between all this she had severe gastritis and h pylori and still treatment is Goin om for this, is it common after surgery to have depression or insomnia that too after 3 months and why she has to taken medicine for so long time I read about the side effects of antidepressants and they are severe she gets constipation also sometimes ...I'm very worried about this I don't want her to take.too much medicine for this what Is an alternative does she has to be dependent for a long period om medicines for overthinking and sleep Please suggest
