My spouse had a disc rupture (L4&L5). Doctors gave us option of surgical and non treatment both. We chose non surgical treatment with physiotherapy. There have been no complications or recurring pains except for pain in knee joint and occasionally minor pain in arch of foot (near heel). Question is this: When can she resume normal sexual activity in missionary posture?

I believe it shouldnt hurt but still if it hurts one must respect partners concern and try for another pose of common interest.
