If the severity of pain has reduced after your root canal, then it should resolve after few more days, if the pain is same then visit the dentist again. Please don't hesitate to take a pain killer and re-visit your dentist. The pain could be due to a nerve piece remaining or a high point or normally because of the nerve cleaning process.
