Vision can be blurry until the oil is present inside your eye, so kindly get followed up with retina surgeon for the silicon oil removal after a follow Oct will do, regular follow up with your retina surgeon is must , other wise silicon oil induced glaucoma  can happen(increase in pressure) so please have your follow up after 2-3 months or the follow up as scheduled by your retina surgeon.

Your vision may not be very clear if silicon oil is still in the eye.

The vision gain depends on the impact of the injury, mostly vision gain becomes stable by 6-8 weeks post surgery. For further details your retina surgeon would be able to guide you based on your progression on OCT
