Hi,
I had covid in the month of May 23rd 2021. I was home isolated and took proper medications for more than a month. Now am getting cough from last 2 days. Is it because of some issues with post covid or because of weather changes. I took a Thorax CT scan in the month of July after my treatment completed for covid. CT score was 1 at that time and no other symptoms found. Is it required to take any xray now for this cough or taking cough syrup is enough.
Note: In the year Feb 2012, admitted to a hospital for Typhoid and doctors diagnosed that was affected with TB and in a first stage (starting phase). Took treatment for 6 months and did a xray and found all issues were resolved. Will this TB reoccur again?
Please help me in resolving this confusions.
Thnak you

Since it's two days of cough start with cough syrup and symptomatic treatment,if cough is continuing for next two weeks or more then need to evaluate further to know any tuberculosis relapse/post covid sequelae.TB relapses in conditions of immunosuppression most commonly
Next Steps
consult pulmonologist for further guidance

Pl take regular treatment for cough.if it does not subsided, then you can think of there.it is not common, of relapse of Tb,unless otherwise, your immunity is low.so, common things first.pl consult with Pulmonologist online with all the reports and treatment taken.
