Post catract vision loss
My dad underwent catract for his left eye. Doctor did the normal process and we opted for the imported lens. My father was okay post operation but very next day when he went for the check up they checked the eye pressure after this he started getting blur vision now the vision is completely gone. He can see only shadow. Doctors are treating him but they are not giving us any hope on the vision. All we were told is that he has got high inflammation and they are treating him. But they are not willing to promise on getting his vision back. Is this normal? Should we change the doctor? What are his possibilities of getting vision back?

It is case of secondry infection called endophalmitis, prognosis is very poor once it happens ,change doctor or consult Shankar netralaya because once it occurs, it is vision threatening & emergency.
