Cataract is always done with IOL implant. Imported and Indian lenses both achieve excellent results. First choose your doctor whom you can trust. Let him decide the best lens for you . He will give you cost.. there is no standard cost . It varies with experience of surgeons, geographical area of Practice, type of lens ( monofocal, multifocal , toric, multifocal plus toric etc). If budget does not permit there are excellent charitable and semi charitable institutions offering these services at low cost and even free! No other profession does as much charity as doctors do! Your doctor will discuss the common possible though rare complications and side effects . Recovery is usually rapid and within a week you can resume almost all activities .
