Post abortion query
I have taken MTP on 28th March after the consultation from then till now bleeding has not stopped from the last 1 week bleeding is very very light. After the ultrasound it shows retained product but my doctor says it can pass out naturally and told me to get the ultrasound done after 30 days if not then will go for D&C and also prescribed me some medicine (for infection) for 7 days. I have attached the reports. Is there any issue to worry about or should I wait?

In your case the RPOC is quite big. It can be easily removed by D&E. You may be able to expel the piece naturally but what about the blood loss that will occur in one month ? And, if you get infection then what will happen ? I would rather go for a definitive treatment and that too without wasting any time.
