Possible hidden infection
Could an infection in the anus that has gone unnoticed and untreated for years possibly cause genital psoriasis in someone who has never had any form of psoriasis? There was one stand alone incident of receptive anal intercourse around 5 years ago and for more or less the same amount of time there’s been chronic irritation of the anus, a doctor recommended a culture swab but it never happened, then years later genital psoriasis developed.
