Possible ear infection or stuffness

Asked for Male, 26 Years

I been having a clogged/stuff ear for 3 days now, it seems to me i may have a ear infection due to pain and the muffled sound. I'm no doctor or expert but I feel like it may be a ear infection but im hoping not. My wife and I tried the oil method and i dont think its clearing my ear up. Please help!
