Poops even when sleeping
Hello, My daughter completed 7 months a week before and since few days, I am feeding her well cooked and mashed rice with some dal water with 4 drops of ghee. She is a bottle fed baby.. Before starting solid food, she used to poop twice or thrice a day but now She poops almost after every meal and also poops in mid night while sleeping. She is active... Passing urine 6-8 times a day.. Accepting feeds without any fuss.. Is it normal? Or is there any issue.. Plz advice!!

Hi. Pooping in sleep also known as encopressis is not normal and the commonest cause is constipation. You have written that your daughter passes stools after each meal... what is the quantity and type of stool? Without complete information I’m unable to guide further, but this is certainly not normal.
Next Steps
Please consult someone, even online is okay to start with.

It’s not a cause to be alarmed. It cud be normal But you could do a stool routine test to see for any infection
Next Steps
Try making her sit on a pot when doing stools while she is awake. She may stop pooping in sleep.
Health Tips
Also look for any food allergy or worm infestation as a cause for increased stools
