Polycyticovarian syndrome
My sister is 25 yr old. she is unmarried.3 years back she was diagnosed with pcos as her weight suddenly increased anout 10 kgs and irregular periods.after 6 months of medication now she is having regular periods and also she had lost 12 kgs.is it possible that after marrige she will face problem in conceiving?

She has done the best thing possible by exercising and losing the extra weight. PCOS is like diabetes so she will always have a tendency towards it but with good lifestyle modification, eating healthy diet, less junk food and making exercise a routine part of her lifestyle will ensure her weight remains in the normal range and PCOS would be under control. If she continues to have regular cycles with this lifestyle modification , she should be able to conceive easily else would require medical help for the same.

Hello, Polycystic ovary syndrome  is a problem in which a woman's hormones are out of balance This is most commonly seen problem in women at fertile age .She can conceive in future if she is having regular periods. For those with anovulation or infrequent ovulation ,ovulation inducing medicines will be given. Don't worry ,tell her to continue exercise, maintain body weight.
