Polio Dose can be avoided for 1 yr baby
Dear Dr.,
My baby is 1 year old (born on Aug 2019) and have given her polio doses oral and through injection for 1st 3 months.
Also yearly polio dose was given on Jan 2020.
Due to corona, can we avoid giving her again today / 2020.

polio doses given during pulse polio programmes are only additional doses they are not replacement for the doses in vaccination schedule
Corona pandemic should not b a reason to avoid mandatory vaccines.. All mandatory vaccines are to be given to the baby as per schedule
