Polio Dose can be avoided for 1 yr baby
Dear Dr., My baby is 1 year old (born on Aug 2019) and have given her polio doses oral and through injection for 1st 3 months. Also yearly polio dose was given on Jan 2020. Due to corona, can we avoid giving her again today / 2020.

Even if you had taken all the vaccination as per the schedule, you need to take Polio drops

polio doses given during pulse polio programmes are only additional doses they are not replacement for the doses in vaccination schedule Corona pandemic should not b a reason to avoid mandatory vaccines.. All mandatory vaccines are to be given to the baby as per schedule
