Pneumococcal vaccine
Sir / Mam my question is does a child should receive pneumococcal vaccine?  Is tat needful? I didn't get my son vaccinated with pneumococcal vaccine..can u tell me when to get each dose.. Right now my son s 3 months and 9 days old.. Shall I straight away recieve the 3rd vaccine or I shouldn't?

greetings to you. . yes itis tobe given it is mandatory to give Pneumococcal conjugate vaccine. Ist dose at 1-2 months, 2nd dose 4 months, 3rd dose at 6months, and 4th dose 12-15months. . you can catch up start now.

Pneumococcal vaccine is recommended for all by Indian academy of pediatrics. It causes one type of pneumonia which is a very serious public health problem. So you should take it. There will be a total of doses starting now. Once a month for 3 months and then at 1.5 years
