Brand of vaccine does matter. There are 3 brands and each have used different antigen and preservatives, so ideally cannot be changed interchangeably. Govt schedule is of Pneumosil 6 wk, 10 wk and 9 month. Private schedule can be of any one brand, Pneumosil, Synflorix or Prevenar 13 6wk, 10wk, 14wk and 1.5 year. Best will be Prevenar 13. If question of non availability then can wait when available but do take the remaining vaccine on time.
