Pneumococcal vaccine
Baby is 7 months old now. Can I know the right time for pneumococcal vaccine. Also she is sometimes dragging her right ear hardly. I clean her ears every morning and evening when I give her bath. She also pulls her hair and cries, and this activity makes me feel like she mistakenly pulled her ear instead of her hair.

Ideal age to start pneumococcal vaccine is 6 weeks. Still ,at 7 months, you can give 2 doses 1 month apart, and a booster at 15 months. There is no need to clean the ears everyday, let it alone. About hair, oil scalp 2 times a week, followed by shampooing. No soap to be used on scalp.
Next Steps
Ask your paediatrician for vaccine.
