Plz clear my doubt
After play scratching  some one a dog died anyday between 28-40. At the time of play scratch he was not drooling. No nervousness no bitting issue was observed in him. He was roaming playing with all the other dogs. His eating and drinking status is unknown as he was stray dog but I twice gave him food he ate. His active non lethargic non bitting status was also observed for next 16days after that play scratch . Then I left  society. Then he was also observed by others for next 12 days in same active freely roaming condition with other dogs in society. He was neither drooling nor bitting anyone in those period also. He died above roof of 3rd floor so we can assume that he was not paralytic condition as he climbed up the stairs. The society is so small and there are plenty of kids playing in the street where no bitting incident was reported during that time. So if I assume the dog was died of rabies what is the chance he had rabies in saliva 28day before during play scratch

If a dog is healthy 10 days after the incident, it can be concluded that the rabies virus could not have been in the animal’s saliva at the time of the incident and it could not have exposed the person to rabies

A dog gets rabies in saliva only after it affects his brain. Once the virus reaches the brain, the dog will die within 10 days. That is why we always ask to observe the dog for 10 days. If the dog survived 10 days, then on the day of scrach or bite, it didn't have a virus in the brain or saliva. In the case you mentioned he survived almost a month so the chances of virus in saliva is almost zero.
