- Avoid spicy, oily and heavy food
- Have multiple small quantity meals 5 to 6 times per day in 2 to 3 hours, rather than 3 large heavy meals
- Avoid any food triggering the upper abdomen pain
- Avoid use of alcohol/ smoking/ tobacco use if any.
- Avoid lying down immediately straight within 30 to 45 mins of meals, while sleeping keep you head and upper body elevated with pillow/ support
- Go for regular exercise even in form of walking for 30 to 45 mins atleast 5 times a day
