Thoracic mri shows bilateral thin pleural effusion and doctor ordered chest x ray. do I have pleural effusion, heart seems swelling seen .do I have pericardial effusion. Plz check x ray chest and mri scan.

Seems more likely to be infectious, close followup would be advisable. Watch for fever, cough, chest fullness, pain. Weight loss.

Chest xray shows probably a effusion,a small one.MRI is a very sensitive,detects smaller changes in the body.Better to consult a pulmonologist to correlate.

Thin PLEURAL EFFUSION may be due to early chest infection. But there is no sign of pericardial effusion.

Get USG chest and how much fluid is collected inn. Give fluids for afb stain and culture . Galactomenon . Most likely Tuberculosis.
