I have been diagnosed with pleomorphic adenoma of submandibular gland, and my surgery is due next month. Is it safe to get it done? And what is the recovery time? And what are the chances of its recurrence?

Hello. It's the benign tumor.. completely safe to remove it. Get it done from experienced doctor. Angle of mouth deviation temporary or permanent is one of the complication if not taken care of nerve. Recurrence unlikely if submandibular is completely removed Take care
