Platlate count is 83000 and hb-10.1
She is 8 month pragnant and CBC report reveal her platlate count 83 k and hb is 10.1 while she is continue with iron and calcium tab and vitmin b complex tab.and also take fruits and dry fruits. in first trimester the platlet count is 1.46 k in 2 nd trimester the count is 1.16k and now in third trimester is 83 k . my doctor tell it will flactuate at praganncy time...no need to worry...other ultrasound and lft report is ok...plz sujjest the medicine that improve the platlet count fast..

She probably has Gestational thrombocytopenia. Which means that her platelet count will fluctuate during pregnancy. It tends to happen with some mothers in the third trimester. There is no medicine to improve the platelet count. The platelet count will come back to normal after delivery. If all her other reports are normal and she is not having any complaints then there is nothing to worry.

No medications available to improve the platelets count faster. Only blood transfusion or platelets transfusion will do. So kindly follow up with your doctor,s advice
