Platlate count in blood
Hi I have been doing platelet counts for past 6 months and it never increases beyond 150000 which is the borderline for a low level. Could you please suggest if it needs any attention or medication. And how can I improve the count.

Hi there...I can understand your concern. Firstly stop worrying about the blood test reports. Yes your platelet count is at the lower limits. But if it stable at that level, then it is okay. It's normal for few individuals to have platelet count around 1.5 lakhs. There's no medications to increase platelet. They have increase spontaneously. If the levels fall below 1 lakh, then consult a general physician for further evaluation.
