Platelets count
My daughter had viral.fever and got subsided today.but today the platelets came down from.1.1 to 95. Dengue test was negative. Can you please suggest.i have admitted her in hospital but still no improvement Regards Divya

In viral illnesses it happens commonly it will rise mostly after 48 hrs

Many viral illnesses can cause low platelet counts..... just monitor platelets, and it will improve with time.

It will more likely raise in the next 24-48 hr. It helps that the child is under observation.
