Platelet count decrease
My brother has a platelet count of 3k after fever, we have admitted him in a corporate hospital in hyd. The drs are saying that he is in the edge of life and death. What should be done exactly to increase the platelets coz till now 12 packs of rdp and 2 packs of sdp has been sent in to his blood but still he is unwell.

Is dengue positive .. If so should give sdp till platelets increase ..
If not should investigate for other causes and treat as per . i handle such cases freguently in my BRISTLECONE HOSPITAL , BARKATPURA HYDERABAD regularly .
I also see in APOLLO CLINIC NALLAKUNTA .
