Planning studies abroad- bipolar disorde
I have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder for the past 8 years and had been institutionalized 5 times in a hospital with a span of 2 to three months each. Now I have planned for higher studies abroad in France in a program duration of one year. Firstly, do I have to take medicines from India for the entire stay or consult the doctor there. Secondly, do I have to admit about my mental health during the admission and visa process. Thank you. Please help.

You should share your diagnosis so as to allow the authorities to know how to help you in case of an emergency. If they will know they will not misdiagnose. Also having a doctor there will help. So figure out the health insurance angle also. You may also want to research about the possible doctors or institutions you want to connect with in case there is a need.
