Hello there, sometimes brushing and brushing properly makes the difference. Circular motion technique for brushing is basically for kids, for adults 45 deg angulation of the brush with small strokes from down to up is required. I would advice rinsing mouth after every meal and brush quickly without the paste after that in case you are feeling that food is still stuck. And plaque formation is something which may cause swollen gums and gum bleeding with time. Get cleaning done for now and if plaque accumulation is due to roughened tooth surface then bit polishing will also help.
