Pilonidal sinus reoccurred in 2 months.
I recently had surgery of pilonidal sinus through practo surgeon. It was good in the start but after just 2 months ( out of which I was on bed rest for 1 month) pilonidal issue reoccurred. What could be the reason other than bad surgery by practo surgeon?

Care AI Shimmer
Pilonidal sinus has a high recurrence rate (despite how good a surgery is done) as the perianal skin always has hairs The best way to prevent recurrence is to regularly shave off the area.
Next Steps
now that you already have a recurrence it is better to get a surgery consultation
Health Tips
Go for a plastic surgeon consultation. the surgery with least recurrence rate is the one where the entire sinus tract is removed and the raw area is covered with a flap if you have not undergone this already , please follow what i have said above I hope this helps you
