Pilonidal sinus
I am having pilonidal sinus from last 8 months i took conservative management for the same like the general antibiotics and lignocaine gel for pain so i got relief for few months again there was discharge from the sinus so i want to undergo a definite surgery for it ...should i go for rhomboid flap or excision of the tract with secondary healing and i also wanted to knoe what will be the cost for the same considering i myself is an Intern ??

Hi , For a chronic pilonidal sinus best is to undergo sinogram and get the whole sinus removed followed by cover of this excised area with a rhomboid flap to get it healed faster than to let it heal by secondary intentions… Consult a plastic or a general surgeon for the same Hope this helps

Hello Do you have MRI report Laser surgery is also one option Rhomboid flap is also an option but all the cases dnt need flap surgery
