This is commonly due to piles or a small skin tag near the anus, especially if pain happens only with hard stool. Controlling constipation with more fluids, fiber, and avoiding straining usually helps.
Next Steps
If symptoms persist or increase, proper examination is needed. Please consult me for detailed evaluation and treatment guidance.

Dear Patient, Soft skin growth near the anal opening on both sides is most commonly due to sentinel piles skin tags or external hemorrhoids. These can develop after constipation or passing hard stools. Pain only during hard stool with occasional bleeding also suggests the same and is usually not dangerous. What you should do • Keep stools soft by drinking plenty of water and increasing fiber intake like fruits vegetables oats and isabgol husk at night • Avoid straining during bowel movement and do not sit long in toilet • Take warm sitz bath in lukewarm water for 10 to 15 minutes twice daily • Local ointment for piles fissure relief can be used if pain or irritation occurs consult a doctor • Persistent bleeding • Severe pain or swelling • Rapid increase in size of growth • Discharge or fever For further guidance and treatment text me on Practo.
