PFT testing
Hi i have allergic rhinitis and am advised to get PFT to check if i have asthma etc. As nowadays am getting cough or common cold lasting 25 days at a stretch inspite of taking Ebast M almost daily basis. Please let me know any preparation required for PFT? Is it best to go for this test without taking Ebast M ? Or it's ok with this also?

Hi noted above history. PFT is for gold standard test to diagnose bronchial asthma. No such test for allergy rhinitis Ideally one should avoid any bronchial dilated medication before PFT like inhaler And not antihistamines and leukotriens combined
