Pft or chest x ray test for bronchitis??
Few months back,I have been diagnosed with "Bronchitis",I got cough with thick phlegm Doctor prescribed some medicines,I got well enough afterwards.. He told me to do "pft" test if possible...Is it okay to do pft test alone?? Or else I can go with chest X ray along with pft test? Which one is better to do??is chest x ray ok with pft test or else I need to do ct scan chest for better results Please give me your valuable answers

Hi, PFT is the diagnostic test for bronchitis, However you could get an x ray done to check for any other issue in the lungs

can go for chest xray and pft for detailed analysis..based on chest xray reports ct scan can be advised..else ct scan not needed!
