Persistent inner thigh itch
I have had this persistent itch around the inner thigh area for about 3 months. Initially it was just a small circle like a blister. Now area is about a 3x3 inch circle, dark redish brown in color, dry and scaly around the edge. It sweats by itself all the time and there is sometimes a rotten odour. I have tried OTC itchguard and Abzorb powder once or twice a day regularly and cleaned the area using Suthol while shower. Didn't help much. Sometimes it gets a bit better but comes back within a couple of days.

You are suffering from fungal infection of the inner thighs groin and buttocks area which we call tinea cruris. this is commonly referred as jock itch. It is easily treatable by taking 4 to 6 weeks of treatment which includes tablets along with creams. Hello dear. Fungal infection should never be treated with OTC products.
These days we see a lot of nonsense for fungal infection being promoted on TV. Please don't fall prey to such nonsense.
If only you stick to a proper treatment plan, will your fungal infection go away. Otherwise you will keep on changing doctors and be miserable
