Persistent Fever 6 days post vaccination
Hello,
My mother recently got vaccinated, and thereafter a normal side effect of fever and joint pain came after 12hrs. Now even after 6 days of vaccination, the fever is persistent all the time(between 99°C -100°C). Local physicians suggested p650 as well as antibiotics which we started immediately, but the fever still continues even after proper medication.
We had a covid test(antigen) which came out to be positive(on 5th day)
CT scan report is 2/25 and is not severe.
Post which the following meds were added
Favilow400
Ivermectin
It's been 2 days and yet fever is persistent.
Requesting you to please suggest if we could do anything to atleast ease out the continuous fever.
