I have periods of year long constant weight, or even gaining 30-100lbs, and diet and exercise never work. Then, after a period of time, I have a period of constant weight loss over a year or so and I lose 50-70 lbs in these weight loss periods. It seems like I go through periods of my body chemistry "working it's self out" or something. I'm confused and want to know if hormones and chemistry can be my sole cause for my life of fluctuating weight.
