Depends on why you are taking meprate. Other alternatives can be regesterone , deviry , duphaston etc. Consult with me directly online as you what exactly you are planning

It is easily available in market .Any gynaecologist has written or you are taking self.Better contact to gynaecologist and take medicine.She will also prescribe from which day you have to start and for how many days.
