Period delay(no pregnancy)
She had an UTI and stomach infection earlier in the month for which she took antibiotics for 2 weeks. She has lost a significant amount of weight due to the illness and is also having a physically stressful schedule these days. She expected her period on 17 February and was getting all regular symptoms but now the symptoms have stopped and still no period. Could all there reasons cause a delayed or skipped period? How will it return to normal again?

U have not mentioned name of antibiotics. Is there any chance of pregnancy. If yes then U need to do Urine Pregnancy test. It should be done 10 days after missing your period. For example if your date was 10th, then do the test on 20th. Before that it can give false negative or false positive test. So u need to wait n repeat test If no then Get ur thyroid profile, CBC, FSH, prolactin, blood sugar fasting checked from some lab. If everything is normal then do an ultrasound of abdomen. For more details u can consult me.
