Hi in my 29 weeks and i was having pain around umbilical region and found out that i have 4mm right peri umbilical hernia. Some days i feel totally fine and some days it starts paining a lot. For now i have just been told to do massage and after delivery can seek help from physiotherapist first if it doesn't go.
Can you please suggest if it causes any other problem in pregnancy and what precautions i can take to feel better?

It will not cause any problems with pregnancy but after delivery you should get yourself examined again. The next action can be taken as per size of hernia.
This may worsen in pregnancy
But nothing can be offered in pregnancy
After 6 weeks of delivery the size needs to be assessed n treatment offered accordingly
Actually it is true, 4mm is very small defect, you can deal with it after pregnancy, it cannot be gone completely now, use pain killers if it pains too much.
