Children often learn by interaction, observation and examples set by parents. Meal times ideally should be like a family time, a relaxing experience. Also, experiment with finger foods, (small snacks which can be picked up and eaten by child himself), give freedom to the child (no forcing), give 2-3 options at a time. If introduced to a daycare/ nursery setting, children often love to eat with others of their age.
